I don't understand much about the swindling in this eps...(but it seems that Kurosaki met a strong opponent this time)

I need english subs!!!!(...will have to wait patiently for KIOKU's version....hehe)

I love Tsurara in this episode! & EPS 5 is sth to REALLY look forward to!!!!!!


Eps 4 didn't start from that crying scene. I wonder what happened after Tsurara asked him that question.

Nothing much to say today but....


OK... it's about "Kurosagi"...


Well... I just watched the chinese-subbed version of Kurosagi last night.. & is there really sth going to happen between Kurosaki & Tsurara???(love perhaps?..OK maybe not. >_<)Yet.. *Hoping!*

I mean... well.. Tsurara was quite annoying in the first two episodes but now that she started to know more about Kurosaki & his pasts, (& she 'finally became a bit quiet').. there are chances... (I'm starting to like her. haha)

LOLz.. It seems like I'm more interested in Kurosaki's relationship with Tsurara.. But watching how those greedy sagishi-s are going to be swindled by Kurosagi are fun too.

Anyways, [depending on my average understanding of chinese subs of Eps 3] in Eps 3, I could see that Tsurara is beginning to take an interest in Kurosaki... & also the Fixer (Katsuragi Toshio) being interested in Tsurara (I guess..).. It happened that Tsurara saw Kurosaki walking out from the restaurant (the one with a sign "Katsura" outside & it's closed at that time) when she was there to deliver things. She asked the lady (the one always at the Fixer's side) about Kurosaki.. & the Fixer saw her.

And when Tsurara mentioned about this to Kurosaki, his expression changed completely.

K: Oi. Don't follow me, Yoshida.
T: It's YOSHIKAWA. Moreover, [I'm not following you] this is my way to go home too.
K: If you have money to buy many kind of things (before, they were in the grocery shop... where Kurosaki 'caught' Tsurara *trying* to buy cat food. haha) then why don't you move out early?
T: What the... I DO want to move out early, that's why I find a job.
K: That's good..bravo(he's being sarcastic)
T: Even at the time you are in the expensive restaurant, I'm still working very hard.
K: Restaurant?
T: I heard that you are a regular customer at the restaurant with the name Katsura.
K: (his epression changed)
T: I was delivering coffee bean at that time..& I saw you walk out from the restaurant.
K: Ah. So, you work in a coffee shop? Work hard then. (& he walked away)

Is it bad if Tsurara knows much about Kurosaki? She knows more about him than any other "ordinary people" (around Kurosaki) do. & it seems that the Fixer "doesn't like her presence" in Kurosaki's life. (there's a scene on this in the end of Eps 3)

Arhhggh...the ending of Eps 3 really makes me crave for Eps 4!! Kurosaki wants her to move out faster...& while he told her that, she cried. She asked him: "By doing all this..does it makes you happy then?"




Can't wait for Friday to come!


p/s: About Eps 2... I don't like that actress that acted as the female akasagi. She has weird expressions.. but I like Eps 2.

Sth I don't quite understand - Kurosaki was disguising as a low-class akasagi? He's swindling the female akasagi by transforming himself into an inexperienced akasagi? Was that what really happened? Haha because if it is, that's really genius! He convinced the akasagi that he's a bad, low-class & inexperienced akasagi but have a lot of money which made her fell into his trap.

I consider Eps 1 & 2 as "warming-up" episodes cos the characters & plots are still building up in a fast pace. It's getting steady in Eps 3(I think).. Tsurara knows more about him than before now (whoa! That's fast!)..

And about "killing"(betraying) your own friend.. that scenes from high school didn't convince me enough that they were good/close friends. They were merely just friends, ordinary friends. So in my opinion, it's not hard to...well...umph....nevermind.

p/s2: Almost forgot to mention this! Kurosaki is smiling in the end of the opening credits! That's new!

p/s3: *calls out* Did anyone notice Kurosaki's akira-ness?? ^v^

#about KUROsagi
I've watched the chinese-subbed Kurosagi (Yamapi's NEW DORAMA!!).. *sigh* long time no see chinese-subbed shows, & the results: have to pause many times & most of the time I'm reading the subs rather than watching the drama! Will watch it again.(still waiting for Kioku's english-subbed version)

The drama is very, very interesting. I <3 it already! haha
Arghh!! I admit I watch this because I <3 Yamapi!!

The first eps was the same story from the manga with some slight changes here and there. *Horikita Maki's character came out early!* The scene Kurosaki saved Tsurara, Kurosaki's disguising, Kurosaki's past (sad..& cruel)..etc.. are very memorable & beautifully done (except that saving scene-lah. That's a bit unnatural..reminds me of the scene Tsukasa & Tsukushi accidently kissed in Hana Yori Dango)

Looks like it's an AKAsagi that Kurosaki will swindle in the next eps.

Hmmm... there are some other things I want to say about MSQY...

like... the chemistry between Alec & his bestfriend, Ruby Lin. Oh, well... some fan says that they have excellent chemistry in there... this is something I don't really agree on..

Alec & Ruby could have a good (really good) chemistry- I believe that... but

.... can't someone offer them a serial/movie with a proper love story?

I love watching Du Fei & Ru Ping (they saved me from getting asleep during watching 'Romance in the Rain')... But, Ru Ping only realised that she loves him at the end of the series (she is so much in love with Shu Huan at first, right...) & their relationship ended happily (they got married)... their ending was kind of rushed...

The same goes to 'Taiji Prodigy'...rushed ending.... Yi Tian Xing chose to spend his life with Bing Xin after she came to save him... Since then, he has turned into a househusband... I don't really enjoy this serial but it was something new to watch Alec as a stubborn, persistent & unpredictable Yi Tian Xing... It's a pity that Alec didn't appear much...

Winners Take All (Da Ying Jia)---I watched this movie on TV2 three years ago, the story doesn't give much impression to me.. & personally, I think he has better chemistry with Joey Yung.

See what I mean? All 'abnormal love stories'.!!!

Maybe it will be something new if Ruby accepted 'Love of the Aegean Sea' to act as Guan Xiao Tong two years ago.... But, then, maybe if Alec paired up with Ruby for that serial, it will not have the same effect given by Alec & Chae Rim...

*Sigh*

The lack of chemistry in MSQY may be due to the fact that Jun An & Xiao Mei are siblings... but there are several scenes where their chemistry is better (only for a while)... that is after Mo Shu Quan was taken over by Yu La where Xiao Mei & Jun An moved in to the small restaurant Jun An worked at before he become involved in magic.

I do feel a bit sad that they can't be together as lovers in the end...

LOL...I admit that I have mixed feelings toward this serial which I, myself is hard to explain... Let me just put it this way~


I LIKE:
-watching Alec performing magic, his eyes are very magical
-the opening theme, totally haunting
-watching Kou Zhen Hai here, because he likes Jun An..haha
-Alec's hairstyles during magic performance

I HATE:
-Zheng Ya Nan & Pu/Piao Yu La, from the beginning to the end
-Jin Xiu in first few episodes
-the microphones that suddenly appear above the actors/actresses head in some scenes (I can't believe that they really let this thing happen...)
-some scenes that is not edited neatly

I'M AMAZED/SURPRISED THAT:
-The Wu family has two handsome sons & a beautiful daughter (well-chosen casts)
-Ya Nan didn't become crazy like Yi Qian
-Jun An learnt magic very fast in just 2 years (okay, maybe it was because he is talented)
-Jun An & Xiao Mei did not have kissing scene(s) [this is understandable...we can't promote incest, right? It's totally unethical & immoral.... bad for children]
-Qi An can't do magic, he is better in fighting

DID I CRIED WATCHING THIS SERIAL?
The answer is YES. Only for 3 times.
1) First time is the part where Yu La tried to get Jun An by offering him enough money to pay Cai Fei Hong... Jun An was frustrated by Yu La, returned her the money & gave her a long lecture... I cried when he went to find Xiao Mei & asked her to hug him tightly, very tightly.... that was sweet...
2) Second time is the scene where before Cai Fei Hong died. He felt so bad & guilty over the death of Jun An & Xiao Mei's father before he left the world. That was sad..
3)The third time is when Jun An & Xiao Mei knew they are siblings. 'Wo shi ni de qin ge....' I love watching Ruby at this scene...very convincing

After I finished watching that series...I don't really have much to say because I fast-forwarded most of the scene with Niu Meng Meng in it. Well, I just don't like her acting style---I can't stand it!! What a waste! Her character could have been something like Yi Qian & she...*sigh* lets don't waste time talking about her...

Kangta was okay as Jin Xiu, its a pity he has to be the baddie in this serial (oh, well, the character wasn't that bad actually...I like his character a bit at the end...yet, why did Jin Xiu had to die? I don't really get it at that part..)

Overall, I will describe it as:
Nice story. Nice songs. Nice scenery.

&

Not so nice Alec's hairstyle.....haha
not all the time-lah...he looks good when he's going to perform magic......& sth I must mention is: there's a scene when they are practising magic---Jun An suddenly 'become' En Qi!!! LOL...

& about the date Jun An & Xiao Mei had in eps-i-dont-remember (7?)...---haha...both was in pink tops!!! (I had a discussion about man wearing pink clothes with my friend yesterday...She dislike seeing them because it look girlish on them, but I said it looks fine if the right man wears it. I've seen one, right?)...for this scene, I think Jun An's hairstyle was quite cute...

About the story.... it feels fresh watching a serial with magic as its theme... yeah, Jun An's hair may not be magical enough, but his eyes are. I enjoy watching him perform esp the last performance (eps 20) where he made the building disappeared.

But something is wrong with that serial, & I just don't know what it is.

I would say I prefer 'Love of the Aegean Sea' (LOTAS) more because the story in LOTAS was very lively (although the story was a bit ridiculous---as said by some viewers). The story of Li Yao Xiang's family, Hui Wen & Da Wei, & some other side characters brought the story to life. All of the characters are there for a reason. Well, I don't really like Xiang Wei Wei character but her character is important because if not for her busy mouth, En Qi will never thought of going to streets meeting people to collect 10, 000 'Get Well Soon' cards for Xiao Tong. & without Xiao San, Xiao Tong will never know what En Qi had done secretly....

Some of the characters in MSQY are just so not likeable.

& I hate that Ya Nan-----SO IRRITATING!
