Will you believe me if I say I watch this for the cat? (Partially true XD)
I've seen Aiba's "My Girl" & "Bartender" before so I know his acting skills aren't the best but I'll continue watching this just so that I could give a review... & it looks fun anyway (Not fond of Oomasa's acting so I'll pretend that I can't see her XD).. I laughed a lot. Seriously, I really wonder how Yoshitaro could even pass becoming a police detective XD.. though I really pity his character.. (unhelpful boss & family members :P)

I'm not in the habit of providing synopsis for every episode anymore so I'll only focus on other things. But I don't really have anything to nitpick about for episode 1... Excepting Oomasa (it was okay, to be fair, but it wasn't a hard character to act out really), so far I like everyone's acting..
Ohkura's Ishizu is kind of a bit complicated character :P.. He's annoyed with Yoshitaro's phobias but at the same time you can find him hanging out at the Katayama's residence (seems like he likes Harumi?)... & he's also an opportunist. Sounds like a character I could get irritated with in future episodes :D.. Anyway.. I like Fujiki's character here ("I bought this via Amazon for you!...") lol

Isn't it interesting that they chose Matsuko for human-Holmes? I guess Holmes' human appearance - if it can be seen by other people - wouldn't be someone cute or old (well..Yoshitaro will be scared like hell if it's a cute girl anyway XD).. Matsuko's acting wasn't that great.. but it's enough (there isn't much scenes for human-Holmes anyway).. Wonder if the dorama will delve into Holmes' own mystery in the future..
I love all scenes with Yoshitaro & Holmes.. It melts me so much to watch a guy so tender & kind to cats :P That fact alone is enough to make me to look forward to future episodes.
p/s: This is the first time I get to listen to "Your Eyes".. I like the intro.. though it will take a while for me to get used to :)
